Lizzie asks…Getting a Tonsillectomy! HELP!!!?Hi, I am 12 years old and in 8th grade. I am a little "hefty" 5'8 170 lbs. I have extremely large tonsils and severe sleep apnea. Also it is hard to catch my breath because of how narrow the airways are. I have had major ear surgery before (recovery 1 week) but im still scared. I am terrified of the toungue depressors and im assuming before the surgery i will need ALOT of the popsicle sticks in the throat. Can you please explain pre-op( like doctor
