John asks…Will the VA approve my claim for Sleep Apnea?I got out of the Marines in July09. When I enrolled in the VA and went to my first yearly exam in 2009, I was prescribed sleep medication because I had stated that I was always tired during the day and couldn't sleep at night. In Aug 2011 I submitted a claim for insomnia and sleep apnea. One month later I did a VA sleep study and was diagnosed with sleep apnea. I was issued a CPAP by the VA. I have no active duty record of sleep disorder,
